BIG Sweep – May 2022
In conjunction with the City of Lorain, Lorain County Solid Waste District, and Keep Lorain County Beautiful, Main Street Lorain presents: the 2022 BIG Sweep!
Each year Main Street Lorain participates in Lorain County Beautiful Day, the annual clean-up event in our community. This day coincides with our monthly downtown clean-up, however, the BIG Sweep is…..BIGGER!
The BIG Sweep is three hours long and goes from 9:00am – 12:00pm. We will still be meeting behind the United Way building to distribute supplies and assign tasks, but you are free to jump in wheneer you can throughout the morning.
Limited supplies such as trash bags, gloves, brooms, and trash grabbers will be provided (Thank You, Keep Lorain County Beautiful), but you are encouraged to bring any supplies of your own that you may find useful. Bottled water for volunteers will also be provided.
