Hamlet: Prince of Denmark

Now in its 25th season of producing FREE outdoor productions, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, in collaboration with Main Street Lorain, is proud to return to Black River Landing with its productions of William Shakespeare’s HAMLET on Saturday, July 9th!
 
Considered the greatest theatrical work of Western civilization, this eternally classic play follows the young prince Hamlet as he seeks to avenge his father’s death at the hands of his plotting uncle (who now sits on the throne).
 
This performance is directed by Dusten A. Welch.
 
Lawn chairs or a picnic blanket are encouraged. And arriving early to secure your seat is highly recommended! Bring your own picnic basket/snacks and enjoy the performance!
